Mikkel Lynggaard

Since 2015, the award wining classical guitarist Mikkel Lynggaard (born 1990) has studied at in the soloist class at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus with professor Frederiks Munk Larsen. Mikkel has over the years won several competitions, both as a soloist and chamber musician, and has performed in both radio and TV broadcasts. In 2016 he won the prestigious soloist competition at The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, and performed the Heitor Villa-Lobos’ guitar concerto with Aarhus Symphony Orchestra. In addition to his numerous performances as a soloist, Mikkel is an active chamber musician in FACES ensemble and together with Mikkel Schou in New Nordic Guitar Duo. Mikkel Lynggaard has received several scholarships and also studied with the internationally renowned guitar professor Antonio Duro in Sevilla, Spain.
